Overview

The Verdin Company has been building and installing high-end commercial clocks since 1842. The quality of our products is unparallelled, based on years of craftsmanship and skill. We know that your projects demand clocks built to high standards, clocks that will last over time and reflect the quality of your work. That’s a Verdin clock.

The Verdin family came to America in 1835 as clockmakers from Alsace, France. Brothers Francois and Michael Verdin set up business in the United States to repair and manufacture tower clocks, installing their first tower clock in 1842 in Cincinnati.

The Verdin Company was an early builder of church and courthouse clocks in America. This distinction helped establish Verdin as the expert in top quality commercial clocks. In the 1930s fourth generation Verdins began electrifying many installations previously wound by hand.
