Verdin Bell Casting

Recorded Thursday, June 29, 2017

Verdin's Bell Foundry, Cincinnati, OH

The Verdin Company and the National Association of Pastoral Musicians are working together to create a special bell commemorating the 40th annual convention of NPM. NPM and Verdin have a long history of collaboration, and it's great to mark this historic occasion especially because NPM will be in Cincinnati - the home of Verdin - July 10-14 for a record-breaking 4th time! The bell will feature prominently in the convention activities: calling people to prayer, marking time, and more — both this year and into the future.

This year, The Verdin Company this year celebrates the 175th Anniversary of its founding. The Verdin Company, founded in 1842, is a world-renowned, sixth-generation family manufacturer, pioneer and innovator of cast bronze bells, clocks and towers. Over 50,000 installations worldwide. Our cast bronze bells and electronic carillon bells have provided liturgical bells and hymns to over 20,000 churches and cathedrals across the United States.
