Position: Fiber Glass Production Worker

Department: Manufacturing

Reports To: Tim Verdin

General Job Description:

Assist with the operation and production of fiberglass Street Clocks, Tower Clocks and Art

Specific Job Functions:

• Ability to use hand tools

• Knowledge of fiberglass hand lay-up, gelcoat and chopper gun

• Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects

• Prepare surfaces for finishing, using hand tools, power tools and air tools

• Mark defects such as knotholes, cracks, and splits for repair

• Trim, scrape, or de-bur objects or parts, using chisels, scrapers and other hand tools and equipment

• Assist with remove of completed work pieces from equipment or work tables, using hand tools and place work pieces in containers

Job Qualifications:

Prior work experience with fiberglass production a plus

Former auto body experience

Good hand-eye coordination a must.

Ability to work with hand tools – The ability to see details in close range a must

Adherence to safety requirements a must

Education Requirements:

High School Graduate or GED

Must be willing to submit to drug screen
